Since 1922 - head of the educational department of the higher military pedagogical school, later - head of the department of editorial publishing at LGILI, director of the Institute of Book Science, executive editor for social disciplines and member of RISO AS USSR. In February 1935 seconded to the Omsk OK, sent to Tobolsk as director of the biofactory. Arrested in Tobolsk in 1937. Convicted by the OSO of the NKVD of the USSR on July 1, 1937. According to the death certificate, he died on December 12, 1943. in Tara. Rehabilitated by the Tyumen Regional Court on March 23, 1957.
