Postonen Urho Mihailovich

Finn. In 1938 he was exiled with his family from Leningrad to Yakutia. After the death of his mother on the way to Yakutia he was sent to an orphanage in the city of Cheremkhovo in the Irkutsk region. In 1947 he returned to Leningrad and entered the Leningrad Artillery Preparatory School, hiding the fact that he was the son of an "enemy of the people". He received a secondary education at the school, but was expelled for health reasons in 1949. He graduated from the institute and received a candidate of technical sciences degree.
