Convicted by resolution of November 21, 1951. according to Art. 58-6 by 15 years of ITL. He served time in Vorkuta, at the 40th mine, at the Kapitalnaya mine, and was transferred to Inta, Potma. Released on September 27, 1956.
Received Soviet citizenship and moved to Leningrad. In 1960 Graduated from the Leningrad Shipbuilding Institute. He worked as a leading designer at the Giprorybflot Institute. Rehabilitated by the Military Tribunal of the Moscow Military District on June 2, 1966.
