Released on September 27, 1956.
Received Soviet citizenship and moved to Leningrad. In 1960 Graduated from the Leningrad Shipbuilding Institute. He worked as a leading designer at the Giprorybflot Institute. Rehabilitated by the Military Tribunal of the Moscow Military District on June 2, 1966.
