Pyallin Vello Yaanovich

Genus. in 1939 in Tartu, ESSR, Estonian, member of the Komsomol. Finished school in Tartu in 1957. As a student at the Leningrad Technological Institute, together with Niklus M.Yu. photographed old houses and installations for suppressing foreign radio stations, which Niklus transmitted abroad for publication. At the same time, Niklus handed over an accusatory letter against “Soviet reality” to the Estonian editorial office of the Voice of America radio station. 08/21/1958 Niklus was arrested, and later V. Pyallin was arrested. Sentenced on January 15, 1959. Supreme Court of the Estonian SSR under Art. 58-4 (“help to the international bourgeoisie”) and 58-10 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR Niklus - to 10 years in prison and 3 years of exile, Pyallin - to 4 years. Expelled from the institute in 1958.
