Rabinovich Moses Berkovich

Genus. 02/02/1907 in Mogilev, Belarus, Jew, b/p. Graduated from the history department of Leningrad State University, associate professor at Leningrad State University. Arrested on April 25, 1949 in Leningrad. Convicted by the Military Tribunal of the Leningrad Garrison on 05/19/1949 and by the Leningrad Military Tribunal on 07/06/1949 to 8 years in a labor camp. Released on April 17, 1953 under Art. 4 Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated March 27, 1953 with the expungement of a criminal record. On November 27, 1958, the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR reviewed the case against M.B. Rabinovich, excluding Art. 3 Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated 06/09/1947 “On liability for disclosure of state secrets and for the loss of documents containing state secrets” and deprivation of Rabinovich M.B. military rank "senior lieutenant of the administrative service", retaining the conviction under Art. 193-17, paragraph "a" and 193-25, paragraph "a" of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. Lived in Leningrad, member of the Memorial Society since 1993. Died in St. Petersburg in January 1997.
