In 1939 - January 1941 - deputy commander of the Odessa Military District, corps commander. From January 1940 to June 1941 - assistant to the commander of the Odessa Military District. Participated in the Great Patriotic War from June 1941, deputy commander of the 9th Army of the Southern Front, participated in the border battle. From January to June 1942 - head of the inspection group for the preparation of reserves for the front, in June - October 1942 - deputy commander of the 3rd Reserve Army, transformed into the 60th Army of the Voronezh Front. In October 1942 - January 1945 - assistant to the commander of the Arkhangelsk Military District for universities, assistant to the commander of the White Sea (January 1945 - March 1947), Tauride (1947-1949), Baltic (until April 1949) Military District. In reserve since May 1949. Died in 1971.
