Rozhnov Nikolai Borisovich

Genus. in 1887 in the village. Vasilyevo, Shumsk volost, Volkhov district, St. Petersburg province; Russian; from the nobles; Higher education - graduated from the Moscow Agricultural Institute with a degree in agronomist engineer. From 1913 he lived in Tiflis, worked as the head of a laboratory for research of hydromodules in the Caucasus; in 1920, as a reclamation specialist, he was involved in planning experimental reclamation studies of the North-West in Moscow. In 1930 he lived in Leningrad, worked as a land reclamation specialist for the Leningrad Regional Land Administration; Associate Professor, Professor of the Agricultural Institute. Arrested 07/31/1930; transported to Moscow on October 16, 1930 and imprisoned in Butyrka prison with assignment to work in the Special Hydraulic Engineering Department under the Technical Department of the EKU OGPU (designed the White Sea-Baltic system). Shot (according to other sources, died in the special hospital of Butyrka prison) 07/01/1931. Rehabilitated by the Presidium of the Leningrad City Court on February 28, 1961.
