Genus. in 1894 in the city of Lyutsin (according to other sources, in the village of Vonosh, Dinaburg district) of Vitebsk province; Latvian; education – 5 classes of gymnasium; in 1915–1927 member of the CPSU (b). In 1917 he was drafted into the Russian army, a fighter in an electrical battery; from May 1917 - in leadership positions in Soviet and party bodies, in 1921 he participated in the suppression of the Kronstadt rebellion. In 1927 he was expelled from the party for supporting Zinoviev’s “new opposition”. In 1934 he lived in Pyatigorsk, head of the Forestry Department of the North Caucasus Land Administration; arrested 12/24/1934; sentenced by the OS NKVD of the USSR on January 16, 1935 for belonging to the “counter-revolutionary Zinoviev group” to deportation to Obdorsk, Omsk region, for 5 years. In 1936 he lived in the village. Salekhard, worked as a clerk at the Yamal Regional Forestry; arrested 08/26/1936; sentenced by the visiting session of the Supreme Court of the USSR Armed Forces in Tyumen on 05/05/1937 under Art. 58-8, 58-11 to VMN; shot 05/05/1937; burial place - Tyumen. Rehabilitated in the 1934 case by the Supreme Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces on August 23, 1957; in the case of 1936 - 10/05/1957.
