Saenko Gennady Vasilievich

People's Deputy (1990-1993), member of the Council of Nationalities of the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation, was a member of the Commission of the Council of Nationalities on the social and economic development of republics within the Russian Federation, autonomous regions, districts and small peoples, participated in the work of the Communists of Russia faction, the group " Army reform"; was co-chairman of the Federal Tax Service; in 1993 he was elected chairman of the executive committee. In February 1993, he participated in the founding congress of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, but left it. In September 1993, he refused to obey the decree of the President of the Russian Federation B. Yeltsin on the dissolution of the Supreme Council and the Congress of People's Deputies. He took part in the X Extraordinary Congress of People's Deputies of Russia and remained in the House of Soviets of Russia until it was shelled and stormed on October 4, 1993.
