Born in 1900 in St. Petersburg, Russian, member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) in 1928-1937, Head of the Literature Sector at the State Institute of Art Studies, Executive Secretary of the Leningrad Branch of the Union of Soviet Writers. Lived in Leningrad (Griboyedov Canal Embankment, 9, Apt. 78). Arrested on 26.06.1937. By a visiting session of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR in Leningrad on 20.02.1938, sentenced to capital punishment under Article 58-8-11. Shot in Leningrad on 20.02.1938. Rehabilitated.
