Genus. 04/30/1912 in Kuibyshev (Samara) in a family of zemstvo paramedics. In 1915, the father was sent to guard the Chinese Eastern Railway in Harbin; in 1916, the mother and daughter went to see him. In 1931 she graduated from a commercial school in Harbin, with an emphasis on studying Chinese and English. Since the autumn of 1931, she taught both languages at the first railway school of the 2nd level in Harbin. In February 1933, she married a graduate of the Polytechnic Institute, E.L. Shmatov. In 1933 they left for the USSR. In May 1934, she entered preparatory courses at the First Moscow State Medical Institute named after. I.M. Sechenova, in 1936 became a student at MGMI. In 1935, daughter Elena was born. Arrested after her husband's arrest in 1936. In 1937, by a special meeting of the NKVD she was sentenced to 8 years. She was kept in the NKVD forced labor camp in the village of Chibyu, then sent to work at the central hospital in the village of Vetlosyan.After her release, she entered the 4th year of the Arkhangelsk Institute to complete her medical education. Having received a medical degree in 1948, she worked for three years in Naryan-Mar, and then until her retirement in 1987, in Ukhta as an infectious disease specialist. Rehabilitated by the Military Tribunal of the Moscow Military District on November 4, 1955.
