Born in 1895 in St. Petersburg; Polish; no p. Vrid nach. 1st department of the Food Department of the LVO headquarters, quartermaster of the 3rd rank. Lived in Leningrad, V. O., 2nd line, bldg. 7, apt. 1. Arrested 10/05/1937. Sentenced 03.11.1937 By the Commission of the NKVD and the Prosecutor of the USSR under Art. 58-6-7-10-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment. Shot in Leningrad on 12.11.1937. Rehabilitated by the determination of the Military Commission of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated 27.06.1957.
On March 27, 2016, a personal memorial sign was installed on house No. 7 on the 2nd line of Vasilievsky Island in St. Petersburg in memory of Stankevich S.V. as part of the Last Address project.
