Genus. in 1883 in the mustache Prey, Volmarsky district, Livland province. (modern Latvia); Latvian; non-partisan. He was a member of the Latvian Rifle Division, and in 1917 he joined the Bolsheviks. From the beginning of the 1920s he lived with his family in Leningrad. He worked as a foreman at the 5th confectionery plant. Arrested on December 3, 1937.01/11/1938 sentenced to VMN by the Commission of the NKVD and the USSR Prosecutor's Office under Art. Art. 58-6-11 Criminal Code of the RSFSR.
Shot on January 18, 1938. Burial place - Leningrad. Rehabilitated in 1957
