Genus. 08/31/1904 in St. Petersburg; Finn; from a shoemaker's family; secondary education; candidate member of the CPSU(b) since February 1932. Arrived in the USSR in 1924 on skis across the Gulf of Finland. Before his arrest, he lived in Orenburg (Sakmarsky Lane, 8), a bombing teacher at the 3rd Orenburg Military School of Pilots and Observer Pilots named after. Voroshilov. Arrested on December 13, 1932 in Leningrad. By resolution of the OGPU Collegium dated May 28, 1933, he was sentenced under Art. 58-6 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to death with replacement by 10 years of labor camp. While imprisoned in Solovki, he went on hunger strike several times. 08/31/1934 escaped on a homemade boat as part of a group of four prisoners (09/01/1934 detained on the Rombaki Islands). Sentenced on September 28, 1934 by the Leningrad Regional Court department under Art. 59-2 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to execution. On October 31, 1934, the Supreme Court of the RSFSR commuted the sentence to 10 years in prison. By resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/14/1937 he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on November 1, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated on November 15, 1889 by the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Leningrad Military District
