Genus. in 1884 in Petrozavodsk, Olonets province, in the family of a tax inspector; Russian; Higher education: graduated from the natural sciences department of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of St. Petersburg University (1909). In 1910–1935, assistant, teacher, associate professor, processor at St. Petersburg–Leningrad University; in 1929–1931, he taught at the Leningrad Mining Institute. Arrested 12/26/1930; By order of May 31, 1931, he was released from custody and the case was closed. Since 1931, head of geological survey of the Kola Peninsula. Died suddenly on Suisar Island (Lake Onega) in 1935; buried at the Smolensk Lutheran Cemetery.
