In 1937 he lived in Kronstadt, at the beginning of 1937 - commander of the destroyer "Yakov Sverdlov" (Novik), then - senior assistant commander of the battleship "October Revolution" (Gangut), captain-lieutenant; arrested 09/16/1937 (according to other sources - 09/06) on charges of counter-revolutionary Trotskyist activities, espionage for Poland, as well as participation in a “military-fascist conspiracy in the Baltic Fleet”; sentenced by the Commission of the NKVD and the Prosecutor of the USSR on December 10, 1937 under Art. 58-1b, 8, 11 to VMN; executed on December 16, 1937. Rehabilitated by the Military Tribunal of the Red Banner Baltic Fleet on August 23, 1957.
