Timokhin Sergey

Detained in the winter of 1984 for attempting to illegally cross the Soviet-Finnish border. Sentenced to 2 years in labor camp. Only the influence of Western human rights organizations and political figures, in particular the direct appeal of Margaret Thatcher and Reagan to Gorbachev about the release of prisoners of conscience, served to release Sergei from prison. After the collapse of the team in the late 80s, Timokhin was one of the pastors of the church in St. Petersburg.
