Born in 1899 in the village of Elizavetovka, Izyum district, Kharkov province; graduated from the Chemical Technology Institute. During the Civil War, he fought in the Red Army. Lived in Leningrad, Podolskaya street, bldg. 21, apt. 18. Senior research fellow, deputy director for research at the Leningrad branch of the Research Institute of Fertilizers and Agro-Soil Science. Arrested in Leningrad on 13(14)09.1937 on charges of participating in the "Trotskyist-Bukharin opposition". Sentenced by the resolution of the Special Conference of the NKVD of the USSR dated 21.11.1937 under Art. 58-10 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 5 years in a labor camp. Imprisoned in Magadan. Release delayed until the end of the war. Released on 24.10.1946. Worked in the Industrial Plant and the Medical Unit of the Road Construction Department "Severovostokzoloto", as a paramedic in the Adygalakh village hospital. Died on 14.10.1947, on the day of departure to the "mainland" in a car accident. Buried in the cemetery of the village. Adygalakh. Rehabilitated by the Leningrad prosecutor's office on 07.06.1989.
