Flerinsky Petr Dmitrievich (Bishop Pavel)

Genus. in 1871 in the village. Fedorovka, Stavropol district, Samara province. Graduated from Samara Theological Seminary. Since 1924 - Bishop of Pugachevsky, vicar of the Ural diocese; from 1931 - Bishop of Pokrovsky, vicar of the Saratov diocese. Arrested on January 10, 1931 for “anti-Soviet agitation among believers.” Sentenced by a meeting of the NKVD troika on April 30, 1931 to 5 years in prison. He died on October 14, 1940 from a stroke, and was buried in Kazan.
