Frolov Oleg Ilyich
Born on April 23, 1948 in Arkhangelsk. Fourth year student at the Ryazan Radio Engineering Institute (RRTI). In 1969, he was a member of the Ryazan illegal student group, the so-called. “a Marxist party of a new type” under the leadership of a part-time student of the RRTI, a turner at the Ryazselmash plant, Woodka Yuri Veniaminovich. Arrested “for anti-Soviet agitation” by the Ryazan KGB on June 30, 1969. He was held in the Ryazan prison (SIZO-1). On February 19, 1970, he was sentenced by the Ryazan Regional Court under Articles 70 and 72 of the Criminal Code to 5 years of imprisonment and 3 years of exile (prosecutor Dubtsov, judge Matveev).
