Zeitlin David Grigorievich

Born in 1898 in Velizh; Jewish; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) in 1919-1936. Red Army volunteer, participant in the civil war, took part in the suppression of the Kronstadt mutiny. His last army position was chief of the division's political department. In 1927-1928 he was a cadet at the Tolmachev Academy, then transferred to the mechanical department of the Technological Institute, which he graduated from in 1932. He worked as the head of the equipment bureau at the Voroshilov Plant, and from 1933 to 1936 he was in party work - assistant to the secretary of the Kirov District Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) for industry. He was expelled from the party in 1936. He worked as the head of the cooperation bureau at the Krasny Treugolnik plant. He lived in Leningrad, Stachek Street, Building 43, Apt. 13. Arrested on 10.01.1937. Sentenced by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR, visiting session in Leningrad, on 07.05.1937 under Article 58-7-8-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. Shot on 08.05.1937. Rehabilitated by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on 11.06.1957.
