Chervonopisky Sergey Vasilievich
Definition: Chairman of the Ukrainian Union of Afghanistan Veterans (warriors-internationalists), Chairman of the Ukrainian Party of Justice (CANDLE).

In 1989-1991 - People's Deputy of the USSR from the Komsomol, member of the Committee of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on International Affairs, member of the Committee on the Affairs of Internationalist Warriors. In 1989, he spoke at the First Congress of People's Deputies of the USSR against the statement at the congress of Academician A. D. Sakharov about the case of shelling and destruction of Soviet soldiers who were surrounded in Afghanistan (the academician referred to the testimony of a surviving officer). Chervonopisky's speech was warmly supported by the audience and became the beginning of sharp attacks against Sakharov at the congress.
