From May 1931 - Bishop of Novotorzhsky, from December 1931 - Bishop of Syzran, from 1932 - Bishop of Yuryev-Polsky, from 1933 - Bishop of Sergachsky. Arrested in 1933. Was in the ITL or exile until 1935. From 1935 - Bishop of Kuznetsk, from 1936 - Bishop of Izhevsk and Udmurtia. Arrested 10/09/1937. 11/05/1937 sentenced to 10 years in labor camp. He died on 08/20/1938 in a camp near Arkhangelsk. Rehabilitated 06/22/1989.
