Arrested on August 21, 1957. Sentenced by the Kirov Regional Court on October 9, 1957 under Art. 58-10 hours 1 to 2 years labor camp. He served his sentence in places of detention of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Mordovian ASSR, art. Potma, Zubovo-Polyansky district, ZhKh-385 (7-11). Released 04/20/1959. parole. After his release, he returned to Kirov, graduated from the Kirov Institute of Music, worked at the Philharmonic, Mosconcert.
