Chudnov Konstantin Pavlovich

Genus. 1893 (1891? 1892?) in the village of Mikhailovskoye, Bogoroditsky district, Tula province (according to other sources, in St. Petersburg); incomplete higher education (according to other sources - higher); hydrobiologist; in 1914–1920 he served in the army - first in the tsarist army with the rank of staff captain, after 1927 - in the white army; from January 1921 an employee of the Moscow-Kazan Railway. In 1923 he lived in Moscow; arrested 06/15/1923; sentenced by the NKVD Commission on Administrative Expulsions on November 30, 1923 under Art. 60, 81, 222 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR for participation in counter-revolutionary organizations, service in the White Army, living on false documents for 3 years SLON; participant in the first excursions to survey the nature of the islands, author of works on the Deep Bay of Solovetsky Island. Upon his release, he lived in Saratov and worked as a researcher at the Saratov Biological Station. After serving his sentence, the OGPU OS was sentenced on November 12, 1926 to deprivation of the right to reside in 6 places in the country (according to the list) for 3 years. Arrested on December 28, 1930 by the OGPU in the Lower Volga region. He was accused of sabotage in the scientific and practical work of the biological station for the development of fisheries. By resolution of the OSO KOGPU dated April 30, 1931, he was sentenced to military service and executed on May 12, 1931 in Saratov. The burial place is unknown. Rehabilitated in the 1931 case by the Presidium of the Saratov Regional Court on May 23, 1960; partially rehabilitated in the 1923 case by the RF Armed Forces on July 28, 1997 – in terms of committing political crimes.
