Genus. in 1891 in Moscow; Russian; from a deacon's family; higher education. Professor-economist, author of books on the tobacco and tobacco industry. Arrested in Moscow in January 1933. By resolution of the OGPU Collegium dated May 2, 1933, he was sentenced under Art. Art. 58-7, 11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to death, commuted to 10 years in prison. By resolution of the OGPU Collegium dated July 10, 1934, the period was reduced to 5 years (end of term November 12, 1937). While imprisoned in the Solovetsky camp, he worked as a planner (drawing up a plan for electricity generation). By resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/09/1937 he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on October 27, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated.
