Genus. 11/11/1909 in the city of Miropolye, Kursk province; higher education. He worked at a metallurgical plant and in a mine. In 1930 he graduated from the Military Engineering School in Leningrad; in 1938 - Faculty of Physics and Mechanics of the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute). In 1938–1940 he worked in Tobolsk as a secondary school teacher, associate professor and head of the mathematics department at the Tobolsk Teachers' Institute), then returned to postgraduate studies at LPI. During the Second World War, he fought in Leningrad, after being wounded he headed the laboratory of aerodynamics and the laboratory for testing filters-absorbers of poisonous substances for gas shelters. Since 1953 - Doctor of Science; since 1960 he lived in Donetsk, worked as the head of the department of the Donetsk Research Institute of Ferrous Metals, as well as a professor at the Donetsk Pedagogical Institute; since 1961 - Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR. He died in Donetsk in 1997.
