Since 1934 - Archbishop of Tobolsk, since 1935 - Archbishop of Tomsk, since 1936 - Archbishop of Olonets, since 1936 - Archbishop of Tashkent and Central Asia. Arrested in 1937 in Tashkent, sentenced to VMN. He was shot on February 23, 1937 in the internal prison of the UGB NKVD of the UzSSR. Place of burial - Tashkent.
