Shur Anna Yakovlevna

She was born on 06/08/1913 in Kolpinsky Posad, St. Petersburg. Jewish. In the early 1930s she graduated from a journalism college. Worked in the Leningrad newspaper "Change". Active member of the Komsomol. In 1931 she was married to the communist Kapotin. After the arrest of Kapotin and his release from prison in 1935, A.Ya. goes into exile with her husband. There, after and for personal reasons, the spouses get divorced. After the divorce, he returns to his parents in Kolprino and gets a job at the Izhorets newspaper. In 1936, probably because of her ex-husband, at the Komsomol meeting of the Izhorets newspaper, the issue of expelling Anna Akovlevna from the Komsomol was raised. But there were people who spoke at the meeting against this decision. But, starting from this year, A.Ya. was prohibited.
In 1938 A.Ya. enters the Leningrad State Pedagogical Institute named after Herzen in the full-time department with a degree in literature and the Russian language. Receives an accelerated "blockade" diploma of a secondary school teacher in October-November 1941. At the end of 1941 he joined the CPSU (b). Gets evacuated. In 1944 he returned to Kolpino, where he became the director of the evening school for working youth No. 170. In 1950-1951 A.Ya. "My School" is published in the publication "Young Guard". The book is soon withdrawn from sale due to A.Ya. with the enemy of the people. The ban on the book is lifted after Stalin's death.
Anna Yakovlevana was active in educational and social activities for adults until her retirement, which she entered in 1968. She died on 05/27/2001.
