Eglit Alexander Lukyanovich
Genus. in 1887 in Latvia; Latvian. Arrested on January 14, 1938 by the NKVD in the Leningrad Region. Sentenced 05/21/1938 VT LenVO according to Art. 17-58-8 to 10 years of labor camp with loss of rights for 5 years. By decision of the USSR All-Russian Military Commission of the Russian Federation dated June 21, 1938, the sentence was upheld. While imprisoned in the Solikamsk ITL, he worked in logging. Released on February 13, 1947 (according to other sources - in 1948). 06/01/1949 exiled to a settlement. Moved to Latvia. He suffered amputation of one of his legs, which was injured while working in the camp. He was re-arrested in Latvia and deported to the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In the early 1950s (until 1955) he worked at the Mashukovsky logging station of the Taseevsky private farm (village Mashukovskoye, Motyginsky district, Krasnoyarsk Territory). Rehabilitated by the USSR HCAF on 04/06/1957.

Certificate No. 8 of 1955, issued to Eglit A.L. and Eglit O.Yu. in confirmation of their work at the Mashukovsky logging point (MLZP) of the Taseevsky LPH and dismissal at their own request from 01/13/1955; on the reverse side there is an inscription made by their daughter Murmietse (nee Eglit): “This is the second deportation and the second arrest.”
