Arrested on June 13, 1935 by the Gori Regional Department of the NKVD of the GSSR, prosecuted under Art. 5-8, 58-10 CC. By resolution of the OS NKVD of the USSR dated January 21, 1936, he was sentenced to 5 years in prison. Transferred to the White Sea-Baltic camp. Rehabilitated.
