Genus. in 1913 in St. Petersburg; Latvian. Before his arrest he worked as a deputy. Head of the Department of Inland Waterways Management of the Amur Basin. Lived in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. Arrested 10/03/1944. Sentenced on March 14, 1945 by the Military Tribunal of the Lower Amur River Shipping Company in Khabarovsk under Art. 58-10 part 2, 58-11 and 58-14 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR for execution. By ruling dated April 20, 1946, the execution was replaced by 10 years in the labor camp with loss of rights for 5 years, with confiscation of property. By the same definition of Art. 58-11 was excluded from the verdict. Transferred to the Magadan region, where he arrived on 08/06/1945. On August 17, 1946, he escaped from prison. He drowned while rafting along the Indigirka River, his body was discovered on 10/10/1946, according to other sources, on 09/25/1946 . The verdict of 03/14/1945 and the ruling of 04/20/1945 were canceled by the Judicial Collegium of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation in terms of conviction under Art. 58-10 part 2.
