Born in 1867 in the village of Borisovskoye, Vladimir region, Russian, higher education. Rector of the Vladimir Theological Seminary, Bishop of Suzdal, since 1921 Archbishop of Vyatka. In 1923, he was convicted of counterrevolutionary actions by the OGPU Collegium and exiled to the Narym region for 3 years. He was arrested again on 14.05.1926, and by the decree of the General Assembly at the OGPU Collegium of 20.08.1926, he was exiled for 3 years under Article 69 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR and deprived of the right to reside in a number of cities. He was rehabilitated on 07.02.1992.
