Scientific Secretary of the All-Union Astronomical and Geodetic Society (VAGO) under the USSR Academy of Sciences, in 1985. - art. Researcher at the Astronomical Council of the USSR Academy of Sciences. Since 1983 - Member of the Committee on Meteorites of the USSR Academy of Sciences. Author of several monographs and popular science books on astronomy. Author of a number of works devoted to the study of the orbit of the Tunguska meteorite. Honorary member of the American Astronomy Society. The memoirs were published in the journal "Chemistry and Life" (1993?). Died 02/01/2004
