Bryantsev Pavel Alekseevich

Genus. in 1889 in the village of Pomyalovo (now the Volkhov district of the Leningrad region). He graduated from the Alexander Nevsky Theological School, in 1911 - the St. Petersburg Theological Seminary, in 1916 he was admitted to the Faculty of History and Philology of Petrograd University. In 1921, he was ordained a priest and served in the village of Memino, Kirishi district, Leningrad region. Arrested on December 8, 1933. Accused of participating in a counter-revolutionary group, producing and distributing literature of a counter-revolutionary nature. Convicted by a resolution of the Troika PP OGPU in the Leningrad Military District dated February 26, 1934. under Article 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 5 years in labor camp. Served time in Dallag NKVD, art. Medium White. In February 1938, a new “case” was launched against him, which the camp investigators combined with the case of Saints Onuphrius and Anthony and the clergy imprisoned in the camp. 03/17/1938 sentenced along with others to death. Died before execution of the sentence - 05/11/1938. Rehabilitated by the Leningrad Region prosecutor's office on September 14, 1989.
