Genus. in 1887 in the village of Gusevo, Zolotovsky canton of the Volga German Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (now Krasnoarmeysky district, Sartov region). Education – 4 classes of parochial school. Before his arrest, he was a salesman at the Gusevsky rural production association. Arrested on December 23, 1937. Convicted on December 29, 1937. Troika of the NKVD ASSR Volga Germans under Article 58 (anti-Soviet propaganda) to 10 years in labor camp. He served his sentence in the Unzhensky camp of the NKVD, Sukhobezvodnaya station, Gorky region. Rehabilitated posthumously by the Saratov Regional Court on November 28, 1988.
