Genus. in 1882 in Orenburg; Russian. In 1912 he graduated from the St. Petersburg Polytechnic Institute. In 1914-1917 taught at Officer Theoretical Aviation Courses in St. Petersburg. He worked in a military flying club. From 1918 he served as an experimental engineer in the Red Air Fleet. In the 1930s he worked at TsAGI and taught at the Moscow Aviation Institute. At the time of his arrest, he worked in the Committee for Inventors, an editorial engineer. Lived in Leningrad, st. S. Perovskoy, 7, apt. 72. Arrested 11/24/1930. Convicted by the Kogpu on August 8, 1931 under Art. 58-4, 7, 9 to VMN with replacement for 10 years ITL. By decree of the Kogpu dated August 22, 1932, he was released on parole. Rehabilitated on June 26, 1989.
