Turkevich Boris Gervasievich
Biologist, Doctor of Biological Sciences (1936), Honored Scientist of Uzbekistan (1944).
Genus. in 1893. In 1920 he graduated from the medical faculty of the North Caucasus University. In 1920-1930 worked as an assistant at the department of anatomy. From 1931 to 1948 he worked as head of the department of normal anatomy at Samarkand State Medical University. In 1936 he received the title of Doctor of Biological Sciences, and in 1937 - professor. In 1944 he became an Honored Scientist of Uzbekistan. He worked at the biological faculty of Samarkand State University in 1948-1951.
