Mentioned in the message of the Kyiv Red Cross Committee for Assistance to the Victims of the Civil Struggle No. 1316 dated April 16, 1919 to the Chairman of the Council of People's Commissars of Ukraine. According to the Committee, Martynova worked in the infirmary of the Extraordinary Commission of Ukraine and was arrested in connection with the escape of a prisoner.
