Railway Engineer
Genus. in 1876 in St. Petersburg; court councilor; in 1900 he graduated from the St. Petersburg Institute of Railway Engineers. He served in Moscow as an operation engineer (freight transportation) for the Moscow-Kursk railway from 10/21/1905, as an engineer for special assignments at the Moscow-Nizhny Novgorod railway from 12/20/1907; was the director of the orphanage named after. Sergius of Radonezh at the Ministry of Railways, then director of the Technical School. F.Ya. Ermakova (1908-14); Chairman of the Board of the Kiev-Voronezh Railway until March 1918. From 09.1918 to 09.1919 - Director of the Rostov-Taganrog railway. He wanted to leave Russia, but the attempt failed, after which he headed the Kyiv-Voronezh railway department. Since the 1920s lived in Moscow. 06/06/1927 sentenced under Art. 58-6 of the Criminal Code of the RSSFR to 3 years in prison with confiscation of property. 05/08/1929 arrested again. Sent to Solovki, from there transferred to SevLON. On 02/07/1932 he was appointed to the staff of Belbatlag as a senior engineer for earthworks under the head of works. Released early, 08/05/1933 awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor. Enrolled in the staff of the Institute of Chemical Industry, where he designed the Baikal-Amur Mainline (BAM). Enlisted as a senior inspector under the head of highway construction, from 05/02/1938 - senior inspector under the chief engineer of BAM construction. Dismissed on September 24, 1938 due to retirement. By resolution of the Presidium of the Central Executive Committee of the USSR dated March 17, 1937, the conviction was cleared, and he was finally rehabilitated on October 18, 1991. He returned to live in Moscow.
