Korotkov Egor Petrovich
Peasant-collective farmer of the village of Srednyaya Berezovka, Krasnoyarsk Territory. Shot in April 1933 in Tomsk.
Born in 1881, a native of the village of Garnodoevka, Shchigrovsky district, Kursk province. Russian. Non-partisan. He lived in the village of Srednyaya Berezovka, Koltsovsky village council, Krasnoyarsk (West Siberian) Territory, worked on the collective farm “13th Anniversary of the October Revolution”.
According to the testimony of his grandson, “he was an average peasant, he was the first to join the collective farm, and all that was left was a little lamb. He worked as a foreman-vegetable grower."
Arrested on March 25, 1933 by the OGPU. He was unreasonably accused of “being a participant in a counter-revolutionary conspiracy in agriculture, actively carrying out sabotage anti-collective farm work aimed at disrupting collective farm construction.” By the decision of the troika at the plenipotentiary representation of the OGPU in the West Siberian Territory of April 23, 1933, Korotkov E.P. The death penalty was imposed - execution. The execution order was carried out on April 30, 1933 in Tomsk.
Rehabilitated by the military tribunal of the Siberian Military District on June 19, 1956 due to the absence of corpus delicti in his actions.
On December 6, 1960, the Nazarovsky district police department informed Anna Andreevna Korotkova that her husband was sentenced to 10 years in labor camp in 1933 and, while in prison, died on September 28, 1935 from acute leukemia. The death after this date was registered in the Nazarovsky district registry office.
In 1990, after the grandson of Yuri Andreevich Korotkov appealed to the KGB in the Krasnoyarsk Territory with a request to familiarize himself with the documents of his grandfather’s case, he received an authentic death certificate, in which the cause of death was indicated as execution, and the place of death as Tomsk. The document was first issued on November 9, 1990, 57 years after the person's death.

Dear Yuri Andreevich!
In response to your application, we inform you that the current legislation does not provide for familiarization with the materials of the criminal case of relatives.
We report the following about the fate of your grandfather.
Korotkov Egor Petrovich, born in 1981, native of the village. Garnodoevka, Shigrovsky district, Kursk province, Russian, non-party member, lived in the village. The case against Mr. Egor Petrovich KOROTKOV, born in 1881, was reviewed by the Military Tribunal of the Siberian Military District on June 19, 1956.
The troika's resolution of April 23, 1933 regarding E. P. KOROTKOV was canceled and the case against him was closed for lack of evidence of a crime.
Egor Petrovich Korotkov was rehabilitated posthumously.
