Born in 1870 in Mitava , Courland Governorate; Czech; from the nobility; graduated   Faculty of History and Philology   St. Petersburg University in 1897, continued his education in Europe, learned 12 languages . From 1901 he taught at the St. Petersburg (Petrograd) 11th Gymnasium, Anninsky School. In 1919-1935 - teacher of medical terminology at the Military Medical Academy. From 1924 - teacher of German, from 1925 - head of the department of foreign languages, in 1935-1938 - professor at the Forestry Institute. Arrested on 30.04.1938 NKVD LO on suspicion of espionage. Sentenced   26.07.1939 to 3 years of exile in Kazakhstan. From October - in Kazakhstan, then transferred to Luga. At the beginning of the Great Patriotic War he was evacuated to the village of Petrovpavlovka in the Astrakhan region. Arrested on 30.07.1942 (according to other sources, on 08.08.1942) by the NKVD Directorate for the Chelyabinsk region for "counterrevolutionary propaganda and agitation". Died during the "investigation" in Magnitogorsk prison on 13.10.1942 (according to other sources, on 10.10.1942). In 1958 he was rehabilitated in the 1939 case, in 1994 in the 1942 case.

06/24/2018 at house No. 3   On Mikhailova Street in St. Petersburg, a personal memorial sign was installed in memory of Mikosha K.K. as part of the "Last Address" project.
