Sentenced by a troika at the NKVD in the Chelyabinsk region on October 11, 1938 under Art. 58-6, 9, 11 (on charges of belonging to an espionage and sabotage organization) to 8 years in prison. The verdict was overturned on November 29, 1939 by the NKVD in the Chelyabinsk region.
