Genus. in 1898 (on the memorial plaque of the House for Lamas and Pilgrims at the Buddhist Temple in St. Petersburg - 1893) in the Urda Aga ulus, Chita district, Transbaikal region; Buryat. Lama. In 1907–1916 he lived and studied in the Aginsky datsan, then in Tibetan monasteries, in Lavran and Lhasa. He spent 2 years at the court of the Dalai Lama. In 1925 he left Tibet for the USSR following the Soviet secret mission under the command of NKID employee G.V. Borisov. Lived in Aginsky district. Since September 1928 - student at the Tibetan-Mongolian department of the Leningrad Oriental Institute. On 09/07/1931, the leadership of the Leningrad Historical and Linguistic Institute (LILI), intending to invite D. to the position of lecturer of the Tibetan language, asked the administration and party and public organizations of the LVI for characteristics for him. This apparently drew attention to D.'s past, and on September 20. he was expelled from the 3rd year of LVI as an ESR. Left for Buryatia. From 1934 he lived in Leningrad, worked in the printing house of the USSR Academy of Sciences, then as a watchman at the Central Park of Culture and Culture. Arrested 05/30/1935; sentenced by the OSO under the NKVD of the USSR on September 15, 1935 to 5 years in labor camp; served time in SibLag (Novosibirsk) - arrived at the SibLag distribution center on 10/30/1935; 12/30/1935 sent to the Akhpunsky department; 06/01/1936 transferred to Dallag (Khabarovsk Territory). Further fate is unknown. Rehabilitated in 1962.
