Klodt Karina Vladimirovna
Born in 1935 in Leningrad. Lived with her parents on Vasilievsky Island, 2nd Line, Building 7, Apt. 9. After the arrest of her father and mother on March 3, 1938, she continued to live in the same house with her grandfather and his sisters. At the beginning of the war, she was evacuated with the kindergarten to Siberia. After 1945, since all her relatives had died, she remained in Siberia and was raised in an orphanage. In 1952, she graduated from the Tyumen Vocational School and left for Komsomolsk-on-Amur. She learned that her parents had been arrested and executed only in 1959. She returned to Leningrad.
On November 8, 2015, I attached a “Last Address” plaque to house No. 7 on the 2nd Line of Vasilievsky Island in St. Petersburg in memory of my parents.
