Kutuzov Sergey Ivanovich

Born in 1882 in the village of Nikonovo; from peasants; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) since 1906. From 1895 - in St. Petersburg, worked as an apprentice mechanic, mechanic-chaser in gold-silver-bronze production, in 1902 - in a weapons and mechanical workshop. He was arrested in May 1912, in 1914 he was exiled to Kyiv, worked as a mechanic-chaser in a jewelry artel. Participant in the February and October revolutions of 1917. In 1918-1920 he was in party work in Nizhny Novgorod, member of the bureau of the Nizhny Novgorod provincial committee of the RCP (Bolsheviks). In 1920-1921 - member of the Presidium of the Lugansk Provincial Executive Committee, since 1921 - in the Nizhny Novgorod Province: member of the Presidium, head of the labor department of the Provincial Trade Union Council, in 1927-1929 - executive secretary of the Vyksa District Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). In 1927 he graduated from Marxism-Leninism courses at the Communist Academy in Moscow. In 1929-1930 - executive secretary of the Mari Regional Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). Since 1930 - member of the Presidium of the Nizhny Novgorod Council of People's Economy, in 1931-1932 - chief arbitrator at the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Executive Committee. Since 1932 - in leadership positions in economic organizations of Leningrad. In July 1941 he was drafted into the Red Army. Participant in the Great Patriotic War. In February 1945 - senior lecturer at the V. I. Mukhina Higher School of Industrial Art. Arrested. Sentenced by the Special Meeting of the USSR MGB on March 10, 1951 under Art. 58-10, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 10 years of imprisonment. Imprisoned in Verkhneuralsk, Chelyabinsk Region. Released in 1954. Rehabilitated by the decision of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on March 6, 1954. Returned to Leningrad, worked at the V. I. Mukhina School as a senior foreman until 1962. Died in 1976.
