Born in 1911 in Gdov; Jewish; student at the Technological Institute (according to other sources - the chemistry department of Leningrad State University). Arrested after her husband's arrest, in January 1938 (according to other sources, in the summer of 1937). Sentenced by the Special Security Service of the NKVD as a ChSIR to 5 years in a labor camp. Imprisoned in the Temnikov camps, Mordovia (Potma). Released in 1942. After her release, she worked in the camp as a civilian employee. Then she went to Gorky, where her daughter and grandmother lived in evacuation, and returned to Leningrad in 1944. In 1950, she went to Novosibirsk.
