Graduated from Leningrad State University.

She worked as a geologist in Kazakhstan. In 1969 she defended her dissertation and worked at Leningrad State University. In 1975 she left for America. She worked at the Exxon research center in Houston and taught at Boston University.

She has published five books: “Ilyushin’s Conversations”, “America, Russia and Me”, “Beyond Education”, “Your Fr. Alexander, correspondence with father A. Menem", "Hump of Apollo". Winner of the Petropol and Master Class literary awards.
