Pesyatsky Petr Alekseevich
Born in 1877 in St. Petersburg; Polish. Until 1917, he owned an electrical goods store on Bolshoy Prospekt on Petrogradskaya Storona. After the revolution, he worked on the railroad and was the chief dispatcher at Vitebsk Station. In 1938, he worked as an electrical engineer in the electrical department of the 6th department of the locomotive service of the October Railway. Lived in Leningrad, Shamsheva St., Bldg. 11, Apt. 2. Arrested on July 27, 1938, charged under Articles 58-9, 58-10, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. Sentenced on October 22, 1938 by a resolution of the Special Troika of the NKVD LO to capital punishment. Shot on November 1, 1938 in Leningrad. Rehabilitated by the conclusion of the Leningrad City Prosecutor's Office on July 31, 1989.
On August 14, 2016, a personal memorial sign was installed on house No. 11 on Shamsheva Street in St. Petersburg in memory of P.A. Pesyatsky as part of the Last Address project.
