Raizis Boris Antonovich
Born in 1901 in St. Petersburg; Latvian; no name. He served in the Red Army, from 1926 to 1929 in Kharkov, from 1930 to 1932 in the city of Gaissin, Vinnytsia region of Ukraine. After demobilization he returned to Leningrad. He worked as an engineer at the KINAP film equipment plant. Lived in Leningrad, Plekhanov St., Bldg. 11, Apt. 36. Arrested on 05.12.1937. Sentenced on 29.12.1937 by the Commission of the NKVD and the Prosecutor's Office of the USSR under Art. 58-6-9-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment. He was executed on 04.01.1938 in Leningrad. Rehabilitated by the Military Tribunal of the Leningrad Military District on 16.12.1957.
On September 16, 2018, a personal memorial sign was installed on house No. 11 on Kazanskaya Street in St. Petersburg in memory of B.A. Raizis as part of the Last Address project.
